Antonio D’Angelo is a multifaceted artist from Sicily. After graduating from the Alessandra Galante Garrone Theater School in Bologna, he intensifies his studies at the École Internationale de Théâtre Lassaad in Brussels. Since then he has been performed in various creations in France, Italy and Belgium. He pursues his artistic research in plastic arts, maskmaking and sculpture as well as physical studies in acrobatics, Butoh dance and martial arts.
Antonio takes a particular interest in collective creation methods. Being drawn to the profound experiences of tragedy and to the playful investigation of comic theater, he is an active creator with a deep sense of physicality. He forms a member of the international Hippana Theater, whose members he invited to Sicily for their current production of Molière's L’Avare.
