Antonio D’Angelo is a multifaceted artist from Sicily. After graduating from the Alessandra Galante Garrone Theater School in Bologna, he intensifies his studies at the École Internationale de Théâtre Lassaad in Brussels. Since then he has been performed in various creations in France, Italy and Belgium. He pursues his artistic research in plastic arts, maskmaking and sculpture as well as physical studies in acrobatics, Butoh dance and martial arts.

Antonio takes a particular interest in collective creation methods. Being drawn to the profound experiences of tragedy and to the playful investigation of comic theater, he is an active creator with a deep sense of physicality. He forms a member of the international Hippana Theater, whose members he invited to Sicily for their current production of Molière's L’Avare.

Tiia-Mari Mäkinen

Tiia-Mari Mäkinen is a Finnish theater professional with a wide experience of movement based theater. She has graduated from the Helsinki Metropolia University as a Bachelor of Arts, from Antonio Fava’s Scuola Internazionale dell’Attore Comico as a Commedia dell’Arte expert and completed her studies at École Internationale de Théâtre Lassaâd.

Mäkinen is a founding member of three international theater companies: I Naufraghi Teatro, Compagnie du Boulanger and Hippana Theatre. During the recent years Mäkinen has been working as a director, actress, playwright and teacher at various places in Finland, England, Italy, Netherlands and USA. Her vision in creating theater rises from belief in ensemble work where the creation becomes a polyphonic symphony of different views surrounding the world. Her artistic view leans on the conception of understanding the world through gestures and movement, through body talk. Theater that serves the public anywhere at any time without boundaries of language, culture or time.

Olivier Leclair

Olivier was born in Canada and trained as a physical theatre performer in Montréal, Brussels, Reggio Emilia and Paris. He trained at Lassaad International School of Theatre, Antonio Fava's School of Commedia dell'Arte and at École Philippe Gaulier.

In Canada, he has directed Lysistrata, played the role of Petruchio in Taming of the Shrew and has studied under the direction of Jean Asselin with Omnibus.

In Europe, he performed and created Horns, Sugar and the Sea with Antonio Fava, Oblivion with Norman Taylor, Mr Charlo, Uni Kuja and played Harpagon in L'Avare by Molière. These shows have all toured internationally, delivering physical and visual performances to audiences from all walks of life.

He teaches sporadically at Tampere Comedy School in Finland, The Chicken Shed Theatre in London and Espace Evoé in Lisbon.

Claudia Russo

Claudia is an actress and teacher from Milan. After obtaining a Bachelors in Public Relations and Publicity(University of Milan), she trains in Bologna at the Alessandra Galante Garrone School of Theatre and later deepens her work at the École Internationale de Théâtre Lassaâd in Brussels. Her first role is Juliet in ''Romeo and Juliet'', directed by Daniela Monico. After appearing in several productions she is staged under the leadership of Vittorio Franceschi in the shows " LAGER , memory of the concentration camps " and " Interdependence between poetry and theater ".

In 2015 she founds, together with fellow actors of Lassaad , Hippana Theatre, an international company of physical theatre. She works as an actress and conducts theatre training workshops in Italy and abroad (Scuola di Teatro Bologna Alessandra Galante Garone, Scuola di Teatro Oscar). Her lessons are avaliable in French, Italian, English and Spanish. Currently, she studies a third year of the teacher training program at the École Internationale de Théâtre Lassaâd.

Jonas Schiffauer

Jonas is an interdisciplinary artist with a focus on physical performance. He is professionally trained in dance, mime and theater in Germany and across Europe. His artistic work is strongly influenced by the creational spirit of the Lecoq pedagogy which he studied in Brussels at the École Internationale de Théâtre Lassaad. Jonas is involved in a variety of artistic laboratories where he explores the boundaries between different performing arts. He combines juggling, contemporary dance and theater to create a visually powerful and touching stage experience. As a teacher he is engaged in passing on his knowledge through workshops.
